RECKLESS DECEIT

A victim with no enemies, no record and no reason to be dead.
Short-staffed and sceptical, DCI Evan Warlow takes one look at the evidence and does not like what he sees.
The victim was innocent. The killing brutal. And someone very senior seems to want this particular investigation handled… delicately.
To Warlow, that’s a red rag if ever there was one.
